Archie Chantyman Earns Provincial Honour
Archie Chantyman, an elder from the Lhoosk’uz Dene Nation and second-generation residential school survivor from Quesnel, is being recognized with the 2026 Medal of Good Citizenship for his leadership in healing and reconciliation. Through his annual 700-kilometre "March with Arch" and ongoing community presentations, he brings people together to reflect on the legacy of residential schools while promoting understanding, resilience and meaningful action.
