Penticton Indian Band Supports Wildfire Evacuees
As wildfires continue to impact the North Okanagan, the Penticton Indian Band has opened an evacuation reception centre to support members of the Okanagan Indian Band displaced by the emergency. Chief Greg Gabriel says the response from communities across the region has been overwhelming, with donations and support pouring in for those affected.
